Might as well put it here for safe keeping. I'm effacing old files that aren't needed anymore. This was my English speech. Edward was able to read this before, during our first year school days. The good all times (?).

TOPIC: Transformation

Do you still remember this? :D

Unleash the Superhero in You

Have you ever wished to be a superhero? Like Superman, perhaps; a typical office guy who transforms into a hot savior. Heroes like them save lives and mostly affect the person’s way of living. Who wouldn’t when you were almost killed and then this hero popped in the picture? A wake up call isn’t it? Telling you to change your bad habits and live your life to the fullest, in the correct and just way. Speaking of transformation, what comes into your mind when you hear that word? According to the dictionary, it is the state of change. Maybe appearance, character or structure. We all know that changing is not an easy process nor does it happen in a short time. It requires buckets of sacrifice, patience and determination.

A superhero never gives up on anything. He does every possible way to solve the problem present before him. But do you think it was easy for him at the beginning? No. He needed to be trained, get the hang of his powers and he also needed some time. For a superhero to transform other lives, he should be able to change his own first. Just like us people, transformation takes a moment. I remember having this friend who migrated in the US. I often talked to her before. I stopped because, to me, she’s a bad influence. Honestly, I learned to drink because of her. She also taught me to say bad words and all that. At first, I thought that it was cool but after some time, I realized that it really wasn’t. Those things are even beyond the Bible’s rules. At present, I’m currently under “treatment” because there are still remnants of those nasty words. I also asked for company from a friend, that we’ll both not say bad languages. I’m glad that he was willing. And I believe that we’re both helping each other in transforming ourselves into potential superheroes. Superheroes who would be able to change people’s lives for the better. Sometimes we won’t even notice it. It just happens.

You, are you ready to be the next superhero? –No, are you ready to be your own superhero? Start within you, spread the word. Save and transform lives. Don’t wait for life and death situations. Inspire others, be a good example. You just have to put your mind and heart to it. Unleash the superhero in you.
